When Ted and Robin decides to help feed the homeless on Thanksgiving, they are in a state of disbelief when they run in and discover that Barney is a regular volunteer at the homeless shelter. Thanksgiving does not end there for the trio because they end up somewhere that only “real” Barney would lead anyone to a holiday meal. Meanwhile, things do not go very smoothly when Marshall and Lily pay a holiday visit to Marshall’s family in Minnesota.
